The Association is not responsible for outcomes between directory users and listed groomers.

 

6. Representation of Certifications & Qualifications

Members are solely responsible for ensuring that any:

• Certifications

• Titles

• Specialty credentials

• Training history

• Business licenses

…listed on the Site or in the Directory are truthful and current.

NCPGA is not liable for verifying member qualifications; however, we reserve the right to request documentation or remove inaccurate claims.

 

7. User-Generated Content

If you submit or post content on our website — including testimonials, photos, directory details, or event materials — you grant NCPGA a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, and modify such content for association purposes.

You represent that you own or have permission to use any content you submit.

 

8. Events, Workshops & Continuing Education

NCPGA may host events, seminars, and educational programs.
By participating, you agree that:

• You are responsible for your own safety, tools, and equipment

• NCPGA is not liable for injuries, accidents, or damages that occur during events

• You will follow all posted rules, instructions, and safety protocols

• NCPGA may use event photos or videos for promotional purposes unless you opt out in writing

9. Payments & Refunds

All payments for membership dues, sponsorship, and events are processed through secure third-party providers.

 

A. Membership Dues

Membership dues are non-refundable once processed.
Membership benefits begin immediately, including:

- Access to resources

- Member communications

- Discounts

- Eligibility for directory participation

- If a payment was made in error, contact us within 7 days at info@ncpagroomersassociation.org.

 

B. Event Registration Refunds

Refunds for events are permitted under the following structure:

- Full refund: if the event is canceled by NCPGA

- Full refund: if requested 14 days or more before the event

- 50% refund: if requested 7–13 days before the event

- No refund: if requested within 6 days of the event

Registrations may be transferred to another groomer with written notice.

 

C. Sponsorship Fees

Sponsorship payments are non-refundable once:

- Promotional materials have been produced

- Public acknowledgment has been issued

- Sponsor benefits have been delivered

 

D. Merchandise Returns (If Applicable)

If NCPGA sells merchandise through the Site:

- Unused items in original condition may be returned within 14 days

- Shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser

- Digital products are non-refundable

E. Duplicate or Mistaken Charges

If you believe a transaction was duplicated or processed in error, contact us immediately and we will investigate.
